Blink Communications Unveils New Podcast Aimed at Providing Key Information to Conference and Convention Planners.


TYONS CORNER, Va. -- Blink Communications, a Washington, D.C. area-based entertainment, convention and conference production company, announced has initiated a series of five-minute podcasts with useful and relevant information on convention and conference planning, general sessions, entertainment, and conference vendors. It is believed that Coffee Break with Blink is the first podcast (iPOD broadCAST) An audio broadcast that has been converted to an MP3 file or other audio file format for playback in a digital music player or computer. The "pod" in podcast was coined from "iPod," the predominant portable, digital music player, and although podcasts are  series dedicated solely to conference and convention production issues with information provided by industry experts.

"We are very excited about Coffee Break with Blink," said Blink Communications Founder and President Stephen Carey. "Through Q & A interviews with experts we will cover many of the critical issues faced in planning and producing conventions and conferences today."
