BLING it on...it's time to let your fingers do the talking with chunky, cheery cocktail rings.

The sparklers are a great way to jazz up your January wardrobe and when it comes to bling, size matters - the bigger and bolder the better.

We asked jewellery expert Anne Love, who owns Love For Diamonds in Glasgow, to rate the cocktail rings worn by the stars.

Anne, a diamond retailer for 12 years, said: "Everyone wants something different and big rings are really making a comeback.

"Jewellery can be as much an expression of who you are as what you wear.

"With lots of celebrities, cocktail rings add to their outfits and are as much a fashion statement as what they wear.

"It's lovely to have a classic rock on your finger that stands the test of time but to have a diamond cocktail ring on the other hand gives individuality to your jewellery."
