Blazing city bus drama.


THIS was the scene yesterday when a double-decker bus A double-decker bus is a bus that has two levels. While double-decker long-distance coaches are in widespread use around the world, double-decker city buses are less common.  burst into flames near Glasgow city centre.

It is understood there were no passengers on board the First bus and no one was injured in the incident which happened just before 10am.

Police monitored the situation as dense smoke hampered drivers on the nearby M8 motorway. An investigation has been launched.
