Blazent Adds Executive Clout to Management Team; Industry Veterans Alan Shoap and Eric Graber Get Onboard to Help Define, Execute and Deliver Breakthrough Enterprise Software.

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- Blazent Inc. today announced the addition of two vice president-level executives -- Alan Shoap for products, engineering, technical support and services, and Eric Graber, for sales. Shoap is responsible for defining, developing and delivering future quality generations of Blazent's breakthrough IT Intelligence enterprise software, while Graber is helping lead the company's efforts to deliver its increasingly well-received software solution to more customers, globally.

Alan Shoap brings more than 20 years of enterprise software expertise in product management, software engineering, and staff operations to the company.

Shoap was most recently vice president of worldwide marketing for Euclid and prior to that, held a similar position at Cendura Corporation. His past management experience includes operating and product-related executive roles at Borland Software Company, iSharp Corporation, and Compuware. Mr. Shoap holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a triple major in mathematics, computer science, and physics.

Graber, with more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, will be responsible for leading the company's efforts to expand its sales presence and customer base globally.

Graber has a degree in computer mathematics from San Jose State University.
