Blaze defiant after cup exit; Blaze to battle bite of Vipers.

THERE is to be no respite for the Coventry Blaze Coventry Blaze are a British ice hockey team based in Coventry, England. They are the current Elite Ice Hockey League Champions, having clinched the title for the second time in three years on March 21, 2007.  after being dumped out of the Challenge Cup, with a difficult weekend of games just around the corner.

The Blaze, sponsored by Coventry Heating and Plumbing Supplies, fell to Cardiff Devils The Cardiff Devils are a British Ice Hockey club from Cardiff, Wales who are members of the Elite Ice Hockey League. The Vipers pulled off a shock 3-2 win at Nottingham in midweek and coach Paul Thompson has come to expect no easy fixtures this season.
