Blavod Extreme Spirits (LSE:BES), an international spirits company with U.S. operations based in Franklin, Tenn., announced that it will distribute wine from nine Italian wineries in the United States beginning this month. The deal, including two of Italy's best-known wine labels, Baroncini and Bruno Rocca, was made to add wine to BES's already impressive portfolio of spirits.

Baroncini has been producing wine in the Tuscany region of Italy for more than 500 years and is still family owned. Some of its most popular wines are Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Morellino di Scansano. Bruno Rocca has become one of the hottest wine producers in the world producing wine including Barbaresco, Dolcetto, and Chardonnay delle Langhe.

"These long term agreements continue to expand our base business while helping to create a global beverage alcohol business with a strong brand portfolio."

Blavod Extreme Spirits, formed after Blavod Black Vodka plc of London acquired Extreme Beverage Company of Franklin, Tenn., in a reverse merger in 2003, has two core spirits' lines, Players Extreme and Blavod Black Vodka. Former Extreme Beverage Company CEO, Hopmayer, was named CEO of Blavod Extreme Spirits.

Players Extreme, the intensely flavored-infused vodka and rum from Blavod Extreme Spirits, is adding Caramel Vodka and Mango Rum to its already flavorful line of spirits. The new flavors will be available across the nation this month wherever Players Extreme is sold. Caramel Vodka and Mango Rum continue Hopmayer's mission to deliver the most intensely flavor-infused spirits to the beverage industry.

Caramel Vodka and Mango Rum join seven other spirits in the Players Extreme line including "Ultra" Five Times Distilled Vodka along with intensely infused Green Apple, Cherry, Lemon and Mandtango vodkas, and flavor-infused rums - Banana and Coconut.
