LANCASTER - Blanche (Boucher) Somensini, 86, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5, in her home surrounded by her loving family, after a long courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma multiple myeloma

A malignant proliferation of abnormal plasma cells that populate the marrow-containing bones of the body. The affected plasma cells produce myeloma protein, a monoclonal antibody that replaces normal antibodies in the blood, thereby increasing susceptibility
.

Her husband of 63 years, Tony Somensini, died in 2007. She leaves her two daughters, Jodi VanHoof and her husband, Richard, with whom she lived, and Toni Thigpin and her husband, Gary, of Florida; three sisters, Emma Muir and her husband, Bill, of Florida, Yvonne Zadroga and Irene Sliwa, both of Lancaster; three grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations.
