Blanc blanks Les Bleus.


FORMER Manchester United defender Laurent Blanc Laurent Blanc (born November 19, 1965 in Alès) is a retired French football defender, who scored the first golden goal in World Cup history. Blanc is considered to be one of the great centre-halves of the 90s.  has ruled out taking over as manager of France if Raymond Domenech Raymond Domenech (born January 24, 1952 in Lyon) is a former French football player and the current manager of the French national team. He is of partly Southern Catalan descent. His father fled Spain during the rule of Francisco Franco.  is axed.

France are struggling to qualify for the World Cup and a 1-1 draw with Serbia left them four points off the top of group 7 and facing a play-off for South Africa.

But Bordeaux coach Blanc (left), who won the French title last season, said: "Leave the manager in peace and don't put me in the middle. It's impossible to coach both a club and a national team."
