Bard 4, Becker 0: The Hawks' Shannon Tibbetts made 14 saves on the road.

Salem State 1, WPI WPI - Worcester Polytechnic Institute  0: The 1-2 visiting Engineers' best scoring chance was turned away with 14 minutes left when Katie Partridge was stopped on a free kick.

Clark 7, Becker 2: Julie Bergeron, Andrea Nathan, Kristin Cullity, Pheoebe Livingston and Jenni Adams won their singles matches for the visiting Cougars.

Newbury 5, Worcester State 4: Albana Xhemollori of Worcester and Lauren Cain won at third and sixth singles, respectively for the Lancers at Clark.

Nichols 9, Curry 0: Jillian McQuiggan, Molly McGuire, Alexandra Cifone, Maria Balabanova, Jessica Spinale and Chelsey Miller won their singles matches.

Women's volleyball

Becker 3, Bard 1: Theresa Boulier and Julie Trcka had 10 and nine kills,respectively, for the Hawks (1-0).

Franklin Pierce 3, Assumption 0; Stonehill 3, Assumption 0: Courtney Stratton had six kills for the hosts in the first match of the Assumption Mixer. Kelly Blumenauer had 22 assists in the second match.

Iona 3, Holy Cross 0; Missouri-Kansas City 3, Holy Cross 0: Setter Chelsey O'Donnell recorded her 12th career double-double (16 assists, 12 digs) for the Crusaders (0-4) in the first match of the Sacred Heart Invitational. She had 31 assists and nine digs in the second match.
