The PM said Labour had been too obsessed with trying to manipulate the media but said TV and newspapers had got worse during his 10-year reign. Speaking to journalists in London, he said: "The fear of missing out means today's media, more than ever, hunts in a pack. "In these modes, it is like a feral beast just tearing people and reputations to bits." He said the relationship between politicians and the media must be fixed.
