Blair junior may go into politics.


BOOKMAKERS are offering equal odds that Tony Blair's eldest son Euan will become Labour Prime Minister and Conservative leader after a newspaper reported that he wants to follow his father into politics.

A friend of Blair Junior, 21, who graduated from Bristol University this summer, told the paper: "Euan has talked about following in his father's footsteps and one day even being Prime Minister.

"He feels he wants to carry on the family name in office."

 is offering 100/1 that he will become Labour Prime Minister and 100/1 that he will lead the Tories.

Odds of 20/1 are available for those betting on him becoming an MP in the next 10 years.

Hills spokesman Rupert Adams said: "Perhaps the hardest thing for an aspiring politician is making a name for themselves and in Euan's case he will not have to clear this hurdle.

"So if Euan remains willing, then we feel that he is a great bet to at least become an MP.

"The big question for us is which party will he choose - he would not be the first son to do the opposite that his father wanted him to do."
