BladeLogic Announces the Appointment of Ed Gillis to Its Board of Directors.


Former Senior Executive of Symantec, Veritas, Parametric Technology and Lotus to Serve as Chairman of BladeLogic's Audit Committee

LEXINGTON, Mass. -- BladeLogic, Inc., a leading provider of next-generation data center automation software, today announced the appointment of Ed Gillis to the company's Board of Directors as well as chairman of the Board's audit committee. Given Gillis' extensive experience in executive leadership positions at large technology companies - including his role as the CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  of three of the most successful software companies - Gillis will help guide BladeLogic as the company continues to aggressively expand its business on a global scale. With this appointment BladeLogic increases the number of independent board members to four and sets the foundation for governance excellence.
