Its mission is to create a forum that will enable researchers and clinicians with a special interest in their early phases to share ideas, experiences and data, Blackwell said. The new journal will publish articles dealing with early recognition, diagnosis and treatment across the range of mental and substance use disorders, as well as "the epidemiological, biological, psychological and social mechanisms that influence the onset and early course of these disorders."
