I DARE say Formula 1 bosses will do nothing about the racist abuse of Lewis Hamilton - for the second time - last weekend.

It is high time Spain was banned from the Grand Prix calendar. We British treat their driver Fernando Alonso with respect when he comes here and Lewis deserves the same.

He should not be thanking the Spanish for having him, they should be grateful and feel privileged that he goes there. Maybe the governing body, the FIA FIA

But don't hold your breath.

I'M shocked and disgusted that Spanish F1 fans are once again "blacking up" in an attempt to mock Lewis Hamilton.

It is a that a minority of so-called fans are bringing the sport into disrepute dis·re·pute

LEWIS Hamilton claims the Spanish have always been warm towards him. It is a shame, then, about the disgraceful behaviour of a minority last weekend.

Lewis is a world-class driver and a true gentleman, and I wish him every success in the future.

THE appalling behaviour of Spanish F1 fans beggars belief, especially since the same thing happened last year. The authorities must come down hard on the perpetrators.

If they don't, Barcelona should be barred from holding a Grand Prix. Racism in sport Racism in Sport is a problem which is manifest around the world. It has led to a wide range of controversial incidents which have been reported in the media.

Racism is particularly prevalent in Football (soccer), but also appears in other sports.
 cannot be tolerated.

LEWIS Hamilton is a fantastic sportsman and a credit to the nation.

He should not have to put up with racist abuse. I'm extremely disapshame pointed the FIA allowed a number of Spanish so- called fans to get out of hand again.

If those fans can't behave themselves, then Barcelona should be stripped of its Grand Prix status.

THE Spanish F1 fans are obviously jealous of Lewis's success. Not only is he one of the best drivers in the world, he is extremely wealthy and, in Nicole Scherzinger, has a beautiful, famous girlfriend. Ignore these idiots, Lewis. They aren't worth it!

The BIG issue

A NUMBER of F1 fans subjected Lewis Hamilton to race-hate abuse at the Barcelona Grand Prix last Sunday (right). It followed a similar incident in Spain last year. You think the FIA should consider banning Barcelona from the Grand Prix calendar...
