In his new position at Blackboard, Dr. Cademenos will play a key role in the company's international expansion and is charged with leading efforts related to channel partner development, software localization Customizing software and documentation for a particular country. Dr. Cademenos joins Blackboard at a time of significant growth in Blackboard's international operations. In 2001, Blackboard's international market presence increased nearly 100% to 417 institution-wide licenses to lead the global academic e-Education market.
