JACK Black has chalked up a victory - as the best movie teacher of all time.

The US actor bagged the No1 spot in a poll as bogus tutor Dewey Finn in 2003 hit The School of Rock.

Robin Williams was close behind as John Keating in Dead Poets' Society Harrison Ford was third as archaeologist Indiana Jones with Sidney Poitier, fourth, as Mark Thackeray in To Sir, With Love.

Robert Donat's Mr Chips from Goodbye Mr Chips came fifth in a LOVEFiLM survey of 2,000 fans.
