Black Country News; GREETS GREEN.


ALL 5,000 residents of the Greets Green Greets Green is a residential area of West Bromwich in the West Midlands of England. It was mostly developed between 1920 and 1970 with a mix of private and council housing, though there are still buildings in the area which date from before the First World War.  New Deal for Communities area of West Bromwich have been sent the Greets Green Cleaner & Safer Environment Charter.

The charter is a joint commitment to the standards residents can expect from Sand well Council's Groundcare Services and West Midlands Police West Midlands Police is the Home Office police force responsible for policing the metropolitan county of West Midlands in England.

It is the second largest in the United Kingdom after London's Metropolitan Police [1]. It covers an area with nearly 2.
, in terms of keeping the streets of Greets Green clean and safe.

"It's important to say to people 'these are the standards of service you should expect', but like any contract, it's a two-way thing," said Ally Allerson, executive director of the Greets Green Partnership. Coun Bob Badham added: 'We want to encourage people to be responsible.
