Black Country News: Young Colts gallop to tournament glory; BRANDHALL.YOUNG stars from a Sandwell soccer team are celebrating after winning a prestige tournament. The Brandhall Colts U9s team scored their success in the Sandwell Soccer Sevens inaugural tournament staged at the Sandwell Show. They lifted the trophy after victories over Bustleholme, Lightwoods Lions and Singh Sabha and a draw against Tipton Town in the round robin tournament. The Colts are based at Brandhall Primary School, in Brennan Road, and are coached by Sally Coffey. Steve Steatham, whose eight-year-old son Jamie Lee Steatham bagged five goals in the tournament, said the youngsters were hoping to improve on their third placing of last season in the Sandwell Minor League.
