Hair and beauty students gave people pink hair extensions, pink nails and pink make-up, in return for donations. The college's Graduate Salon Salon, annual exhibition of art works chosen by jury and presented by the French Academy since 1737; it was originally held in the Salon d'Apollon of the Louvre. Earlier in the month, Walsall College Academy Health Club manager Rayna Jones raised over pounds 700 for Breast Cancer Awareness by completing the Great North Run in two hours four minutes. Helen Griffiths, youth engagement officer for Walsall College, said: "Support from students has been fantastic. "Breast Cancer charities are close to the hearts of many people and it is great to see students using the talents they have acquired to help save lives."
