Black Country News: Library goal for ex-Wolves star; WALSALL.


FORMER Wolves and England legend Steve Bull Stephen George Bull, MBE, (born 28 March 1965) is a former English footballer from Tipton who had a long career in the football league with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Steve Bull was born on the Moat Farm estate (known locally as the "The Lost City") on 28 March 1965.
 is set to turn into a librarian for a day with the goal of increasing library users.

The Molineux hero will call into Walsall Central library, in Lichfield Street, from 2pm to 3.30pm on Saturday, January 19.

Coun Louise Harrison, Walsall Council cabinet member for leisure and culture, said: "This is going to be a fantastic chance to come face to face with a real football legend. Steve Bull needs no introduction to football supporters across the Black Country and he is remembered fondly for his exploits for Wolves and England.

"The catch is you must be a library member to get your book stamped by the great man. But it's free and simple to join."

After starting his career with West Bromwich West Bromwich (brŭm`ĭj, –ĭch, brŏm`wĭch), city (1991 pop. 146,386), Sandwell metropolitan district, W central England.  Albion, where he played four times and scored twice, he helped rescue Wolves from the basement division to the brink of top flight football.
