KEEPERS at Dudley Zoological Gardens certainly know their onions when it comes to celebrating National Vegetarian Week. The award-winning Black Country tourist attraction's annual shopping list covers a massive 40 tonnes of fruit and vegetables to feed the 1,000-strong animal collection. Chief Executive, Peter Suddock, said: "Almost every animal here has fruit and vegetables daily and most of them have the recommended five-a-day portions to help maintain a healthy balanced diet balanced diet n.
