Black Country News: Chris, 15, serves a pounds 3,000 ace; PELSALL.


A WALSALL teenager was celebrating today after learning that his plea for refurbished tennis courts in Pelsall had succeeded. Chris Morgan Chris Morgan is the name of:
  • Chris Morgan, alias of professional wrestler Chris Kanyon
  • Chris Morgan (footballer), English football player
  • Chris Morgan (journalist), journalist working for The Sunday Times (UK)
, aged 15, a pupil at Shire Shire or Shiré (both: shē`rā), river, c.250 mi (400 km) long, flowing from the southern end of Lake Nyasa, Malawi, SE Africa, to the Zambezi River in central Mozambique. It is navigable to Nsanje.  Oak School, launched a campaign for the resurfacing of the tennis courts near Pelsall Community Centre, and brought his appeal to Pelsall and Rushall Local Neighbourhood Partnership. Chris applied for nearly pounds 3,000 through Walsall's Local Area Agreement, and work starts next year.

He and his friends have been playing on the crumbling courts for three years.

Chris said: "This money will make a real difference to young people in this area. More young people will come down and play on the courts and this will also help to improve fitness."

Pelsall and Rushall Local Neighbourhood Parternership meets at Ryders Hayes Primary School at 6pm on Monday, December 18, to discuss with the general manager of Travel West Midlands West Midlands, former metropolitan county, central England. Created in the 1974 local government reorganization, the county embraced the Birmingham conurbation and comprised seven metropolitan districts: Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Birmingham, Solihull,  his decision to stop the 158 bus service from Pelsall to B irmingham.
