Black Country News: Beat the heat and the burglars; DUDLEY.


POLICE in Dudley are reminding residents to make sure their doors and windows are securely locked during the warm spell Warm Spell (1988-1994) was an American Eclipse Award winning thoroughbred racehorse, a Kentucky-bred son of Northern Baby, owned and trained by John K. Griggs and bred by Robert Kluener. He was ridden primarily by the owner/trainer's son, Kirk Griggs.  after a spate of burglaries.

In the past few weeks there have been a number of break-ins through unlocked doors and windows, particularly in the Kate's Hill area.

Supt Laurie Dyer said: "It is important that people check their doors and windows are locked before they go to bed at night.

"Many burglars are opportunists and will simply take any chance they can get. An open door is a huge temptation Temptation
