Black Box Corporation Named Among BusinessWeek's Top 20 SmallCaps.Business & High-Tech Editors PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2002 Black Box Corporation (Nasdaq:BBOX) today announced that it was included in the BusinessWeek Online listing of 20 top-ranked small-cap companies. To qualify, a company had to meet two criteria. First, a company had to have S&P's top investment rankings of 4 STARS (accumulate Accumulate Broker/analyst recommendation that could mean slightly different things depending on the broker/analyst. In general, it means to increase the number of shares of a particular security over the near term, but not to liquidate other parts of the portfolio to buy a security ) and 5 STARS (buy) in the S&P SmallCap 600 list.
