PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 2000

Black Box Corporation (Nasdaq:BBOX) today announced a merger with Da/Com, Limited. Established in 1992 in Stoughton, Massachusetts Stoughton (Official Name: Town of Stoughton) is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 27,149 at the 2000 census. History

Mr. Buchine will serve as Vice President for Black Box Network Services -- New England Operations, reporting to Mr. Eknaian.

This transaction is being accounted for as a purchase. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
