Black Box Corporation Announces Merger With Coast to Coast Communications, Inc.

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 2000

Black Box Corporation (Nasdaq:BBOX) today announced a merger with Coast to Coast Communications, Inc. Established in 1981 in Sarasota, Florida, privately-held Coast to Coast provides technical design, installation and maintenance services for premise cabling and related products to customers primarily in the greater Sarasota and Ocala, Florida regions. Annual revenues of Coast to Coast are approximately $3 million.

Commenting on the merger, Kevin M. Grover, President of Black Box Network Services - Florida Operations, said, "Coast to Coast has a history of quality and service that will complement our Florida operation. The addition of their team will be a win-win for their existing customers and Black Box Network Services. This transaction is being accounted for as a purchase. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
