CrossBow Ventures Leads $3.2 Million Round, Which Comes on the Heels

of BizProLink Network's Partnership with AOL's Netscape Netbusiness

In what has been perhaps the most unfriendly business environment of recent memory in which to raise new capital, BizProLink Network, the Internet's largest network of industry-specific communities for business professionals, today announced the successful conclusion of its Series C funding round. The company has secured an additional $3.2 million in venture capital from West Palm Beach based CrossBow Ventures, Inc.

This third round of funding follows BizProLink Network's recent announcement that it has partnered with AOL's Netscape Netbusiness Center to provide industry-specific content and online tools for its "Communities" section. Netscape Netbusiness was launched by AOL to offer a one-stop, global e-commerce network of hundreds of communities and is linked to hundreds of marketplaces that allow small and large businesses to buy, sell and interact online.

BizProLink was initially funded in January and November of 2000 by top American and Swiss Venture Capital Investors and Technology Companies, which included Siebel Systems. With this latest infusion of capital, the company will focus on the continued, aggressive expansion of its sales initiatives, in addition to the further development and enhancement of its relationships with key business partners, such as AOL, IBM and Sun Microsystems.
