BizBlast.com Secures $4 Million First-Round Financing Led by SOFTBANK Venture Capital.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2000

BizBlast.com, an Internet Business Bureau dedicated to providing small businesses with easy-to-use Internet tools and services, today announced it has received $4 million in first-round financing led by SOFTBANK Venture Capital and completed by Quest International Quest International was a major producer of flavors and fragrances with sales of £560 million in 2005[1] before its acquisition by rival Givaudan. Quest created and marketed flavours and fragrance concepts and solutions for the fast moving consumer goods industries.  Management Company Inc. and Access Venture Partners.

The company will use the funding to build the infrastructure to support its proprietary BizBlast Transaction Engine and BizBlast Store Wizard products, which enable users to efficiently and inexpensively create, set up and maintain sophisticated online stores. In addition, BizBlast.com will use the funding to continue product development, conduct initial marketing efforts and create more advanced e-commerce solutions for small businesses.
