Brear as its vice president of worldwide sales and support. Brear will report directly to president and CEO Elan Amir, and will drive sales relationships with Bivio's diversified customer base, including network equipment manufacturers, independent software vendors, system integrators, and several government agencies.

Brear has more than 17 years of executive management and sales experience in the networking and telecommunications industries. Before joining Bivio, Brear was vice president of worldwide sales for Tasman Networks, a leader in converged services routing platforms acquired by Nortel, where he drove global wins with Tier 1 service providers and Fortune 100 enterprises as well as OEM relationships with four global network equipment manufacturers. He was also vice president of worldwide sales at Force10 Networks, helping take the company from pre-revenue to the No. 1 listing on Light Reading's Top 10 list of private firms. Previously, Brear held a variety of senior management positions at Cisco and senior sales management positions at IBM and Sprint. He holds a BA degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
