, President of its Pageflex, Inc., subsidiary, has resigned effective August 31, 2000. Mr. Trevithick will continue to work closely with Pageflex as a consultant and strategic advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Pageflex, Charles Ying, and the entire management team. Mr. Ying will assume the role of President of Pageflex in addition to his current position as Chief Executive Officer of Bitstream and Pageflex.

Charles Ying has been Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors since its inception in January 1999. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Pageflex's parent company, Bitstream, since May 1997, and Chairman of the Board of Directors since April 1997. From January 1992 to January 1996, Mr. Ying served as Chief Executive Officer of Information International Inc., a corporation engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing, and marketing computer-based systems Computer-based systems
