These creepy-cute spider cupcakes are super fun for Halloween Halloween (hăl'əwēn`, häl'–), Oct. 31, the eve of All Saints' Day, observed with traditional games and customs. The word comes from medieval England's All Hallows' eve (Old Eng. hallow="saint"). .

WHAT YOU NEED

* 1 box of chocolate cake mix * 1 tub of your favorite chocolate frosting frosting

the slight graying of the haircoat around the face, particularly muzzle, in dogs with aging and as a regular feature of some breeds such as the Belgian shepherd dog.
 * 1/2 package of shoestring licorice licorice (lĭk`ərĭs, –rĭsh), name for a European plant (Glycyrrhiza glabra) of the family Leguminosae (pulse family) and for the sweet substance obtained from the root.  * 48 Red Hots or any other small round candies

WHAT YOU DO

* Prepare cupcakes according to according to
prep.

 the directions on the box. Let cool completely before frosting.

* Cut the licorice into 1 1/2 inch pieces--you'll need eight pieces for each spider.

* While the frosting is still soft, stick four pieces on each side of the cupcakes, so that the licorice looks like spider legs. Place two Red Hots on the front of each cupcake for eyes.
