Bison upended in NCAAs.


GENEVA, N.Y. - The most successful season for the Nichols College The Nichols College sports teams, known as the Bison (men) and the Lady Bison (women) are the pride of their hometown of Dudley in Massachusetts. History

After a scoreless first period, Hobart (20-6-2) connected at 8:17 of the second on Ryan Adler's goal. Gregory Alberti made it 2-0 with 2:17 left in the period. Hobart goalie Keith Longo made 18 of his 35 saves on the night, while Bryant Harris added a third-period goal.

Freshman transfer goaltender Jacob Rinn made 17 of his 34 saves in the first period to keep the Bison in the game.

Neither team scored on the power play, with the Bison going 0 for 7 and Hobart 0 for 5.
