The diocesan administrator, Father Walter Laliberty, has resigned for health reasons. Archbishop Collins was the bishop of St. Paul for two years (1997-1999) before he moved to Edmonton. The diocese has a Catholic population of 53,000 in 23 parishes and missions. It includes the oil boom town of Fort McMurray (Zenit, March 15).
