Last June, Bishop Andrews spent 14 days driving a 1949 model R John Deere tractor across the province to celebrate Saskatchewan's centennial and to raise money for church causes. The trek, which covered 1,500 kilometres, raised more than $42,000 for projects including AIDS initiatives in Africa and flood relief for Saskatoon's companion diocese of Guyana. |
