 PRENTICE

Birmingham v Fulham Home: 6/4 Draw: 9/4 Away 15/8 GOALS have been hard to come by at St Andrews this season, but that shouldn't put you off punting on this match.

The half-time score has been 0-0 in seven out of Birmingham's 12 games, more than any other Premier League team. Indeed the first goal hasn't come at St Andrews until the 59th minute on average this season. With the first goal time in Fulham away games 29 minutes, that makes Bet365's 1st goal after 28 minutes (evens) appealing..

Birmingham midfielder Barry Ferguson Barry Ferguson MBE (born Hamilton, Scotland, February 2, 1978) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays in midfield. He currently plays for and captains both Scottish Premier League club Rangers and the Scotland national team.  will return after suspension.

Prediction: 1-1 Kick-off: Today, 3pm DERBY DAY: Sam Allardyce <noinclude></noinclude>

Samuel "Sam" Allardyce (born October 19 1954 in Dudley, West Midlands) is an English former professional football player and current football manager. He is currently the manager of Newcastle United of the English Premier League.
Bolton W v Blackburn Home: 6/5 Draw: 23/10 Away 12/5 BOTH these sides score and ship goals, so the over 2.5 goals market has obvious interest.

But the card market for a Lancashire derby could be intriguing, too.

Bolton have picked up 12 yellows and two reds in six home games this season, whilst Blackburn buck the usual trend for away teams by picking up just seven in their five away matches.

The bookies won't price that market up until later, but with the game on SKy TV you'll get a price on Bolton being shown more cards by Mike Dean than their visitors and the price could be attractive, too.

Prediction: 2-0 Kick-off: Tomorrow, 1.30pm Sky Sports 1 Tottenham v Wigan Wigan (wĭg`ən), city (1991 pop. 88,725) and metropolitan district, N England, located in the Manchester metropolitan area on the Douglas River.  Athletic Home: 4/9 Draw: 10/3 Away 7/1 TOTTENHAM and Wigan's agreement to move this weekend's Premier League encounter to Sunday to give their players more time after the international matches has been blasted by the Football Supporters' Federation.

The clubs will play the match tomorrow rather than Saturday despite the game not being on television or - the other usual reason for playing on Sunday - either side being involved in Europe.

Premier League rules allow for such a switch if it is mutually agreed, but Malcolm Clarke Malcolm Clarke (1943-2003) was a British composer, and a member of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop for 25 years from 1969 to 1994.

Clarke proved somewhat controversial when he joined the workshop, due to his views that Radiophonic music should be, in his words, "fine art," a
, chairman of the Football Supporters' Association, said it was "a worrying trend."

Prediction: 2-1 Kick-off: Tomorrow, 3pm Burnley v Aston Villa Home: 5/2 Draw: 11/10 Away 12/5 A SOLID stat to consider at Turf Moor Turf Moor is a football stadium located in Burnley, Lancashire, and is the home ground of English football club Burnley F.C.

It is situated on Harry Potts Way in Burnley, and has a capacity of 22,546, all seated.
is that an Aston Villa player has been shown the first card in eight out of 12 games this season - while Burnley are the Premier League good guys - five out of their six home games have dipped under 3.5 cards.

Villa have to be backed for first card.

Villa duo James Collins James Collins may refer to:
  • James Collins, commander of HMS Meteor.
  • James Collins, footballer for West Ham United F.C. in London
  • James Collins, Irish politician and father of Gerard Collins
  • James Collins, British journalist
and Emile Heskey Emile William Ivanhoe Heskey[6] (born January 11 1978 in Leicester, England)[1] is an English footballer. Known for his pace and strength,[7] he is a striker currently playing for Premier League side Wigan Athletic.  are winning their battle to be fit. Central defender Collins missed the 5-1 demolition of Bolton at Villa Park a fortnight ago with a groin injury.

Heskey was also sidelined after suffering a back spasm in the previous game at West Ham, but the pair are making good progress.

Prediction: 2-2 Kick-off: Today, 3pm Chelsea v Wolves Home: 1/6 Draw: 6/1 Away 18/1 A WHOPPING 83 per cent of Chelsea matches this season have yielded a high corner count (over 10.5) with Chelsea winning the most corners in exactly the same ratio.

On average they win four corners a game more than their opponents - more at home - which is why William Hill have priced Chelsea at +5 in the corner handicap at 1/2,000!

But don't fret. Wolves regularly rack up a decent number of corners, too, which makes Corals' 11/8 on their being over 12 corners in the game a reasonable shout.

Prediction: 3-0 Kick-off: Today, 3pm Hull City v West Ham Home: 15/8 Draw: 9/4 Away 6/4 TIME to corner a profit again.

Bets on over 10.5 corners have paid out in 67 per cent of Hull games so far - their games are averaging 12 total corners.

That tallies up nicely with The Hammers' corner winning tendencies, with 67 per cent of their games going over 10.5 corners - their games also averaging 12 corners.

Only corner prices at present are William Hill's 11/10 for over/6 in the second half, but other bookies will price up 11 or over for the 90 minutes this morning. Grab it.

Prediction: 2-1 Kick-off: Today, 3pm Sunderland v Arsenal Home: 5/1 Draw: 11/4 Away 8/13 PRETTY solid stats to take advantage of at the Stadium of Light.

Eight out of 12 Sunderland games have gone Over 2.5 Goals this season, while a near clean sweep - 10 out of 11 - of Arsenal games have gone over the same mark.

Sunderland''s home games are producing an average of 4.0 goals, while Arsenal''s away games are producing an average of 4.4!

Obviously the bookies have taken those stats into account with their 8/13 price - but don't be sniffy sniff·y
adj. sniff·i·er, sniff·i·est Informal
Disposed to showing arrogance or contempt; haughty.

sniff
, a win's a win.

Prediction: 2-3 Kick-off: Today, 3pm PUNTER'S FRIEND? Leicestershire official Kevin Friend Stoke City v Por tsmouth Home: 11/10 Draw: 12/5 Away 5/2 BOTH these teams are amongst the better behaved in the Premier League.

Both can boast an under 3.5 card count in 66.7 per cent of their matches.

Regardless of how well a team behaves, though, a reckless ref can wreck even the most carefully scutinised stats.

. Which is why the appointment of Leicestershire's Kevin Friend adds even more .weight to our argument.

. In five Premier League assignments so far he has shown 13 yellow cards and no reds.

. Prediction: 2-1 Kick-off: Tomorrow, 4pm Sky Sports 1 Hits ... and misses LAST WEEK'S TIPS .
