IT'S official - two week's until the Birmingham Pride 2008 weekend and counting!

But before that takes place, let's take a look at the fantastic entertainment on offer this week at many of your local bars and clubs.

Now under new ownership, the Village Inn tonight will see cabaret from Danielle and the hilarious Cassidy Connors, who was formerly Trashville Tennesee.

Tomorrow will see that crazy DJ Lotty creating a memorable party night and taking the night once again until 4am.

Sunday will see Dolly Diamond performing some live drag on the stage.

Make a note of Thursday, May 22, which will be the official re-launch night.

Everybody's favourite club the Nightingale will see a kicking performance from Alphabeat on Saturday.

All three floors and the garden will be open at this amazing venue to indulge anybody's mind.

If it's late night clubbing you require, starting about 10pm the revolutionary Chic will take you through until gone 7am.

This award winning venue with security to match will supply a friendly atmosphere that will help you smile all morning long.
