EyeBeam: a Construction and Art Collaboration is celebrating its second year of teaching lessons on the creative process of construction. "The committee of artists, architects and contractors came up with the idea of the visionary tower. It speaks directly to the creative and visionary program. We want to reach children and to introduce them to the creative process that is part of the construction industry," said Robin Paulding, Eyebeam project co-founder. "Construction is the engine that drives our national economy. It is an industry that people associate with banging hammers, but it requires creativity and the ability to think on your feet. This link between art, the creative process and building is the inspiration for our program." The Magic City Art Festival is ranked #12 nationally among Juried Art Festivals by Sunshine Artist and more than 24 states are represented by participating artists. Under the direction of Eileen Kunzman, co-founder of Eyebeam, the Magic City Art festival has grown to an attendance of over 30,000.
