Birman Managed Care Announces a Fourth Hospital Contract in October.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 29, 1998--BIRMAN MANAGED CARE, INC. (NASDAQ: BMAN), a physician-driven health care consulting and management company, announced today that its subsidiary, Birman & Associates Inc., has been awarded a fourth new contract this month with a hospital in Ohio. The contract is valued at approximately $350,000 over a two year period.

The hospital has contracted to use Birman's Quality Management Program (QMP). The QMP is the foundation for the company's compliance-oriented product lines. Compliance continues to be the driving market force for Birman, the QMP was developed by Birman as an educational process for physicians. Birman physicians work with client physicians to help them maintain their autonomy in the patient care arena while meeting the business, financial, and regulatory demands that have been imposed on the health care industry.
