Birman Managed Care, Inc.'s subsidiary secures major health plan contract with Imperial Palace Biloxi - Projected annual revenue in excess of $3,600,000.

The Imperial Palace Biloxi has nearly 1,100 hotel rooms under construction and is slated to be the largest hotel in the Back Bay area of the Gulf Coast when it opens, now scheduled for late summer of this year. When fully operational the hotel will employ approximately 1,500 persons.

The health plan will provide coverage for employees and dependents. Enrollment under the plan has started and is expected to reach 400 - 500 members by the end of September with full enrollment expected by the end of October. The contract period runs from July 1, 1997 through October 1998.
