to a Variety of Business Models

Making its American debut, Birdstep Technology's (OSE OSE - Open Systems Environment :BIRD) IP Zone Server has been selected by three U.S. service providers to create Wi-Fi hotspots. The companies have diverse business objectives, yet all three companies selected Birdstep software to meet their customer needs.

A major Northwest telecommunications provider is the first U.S. operator to sign with Birdstep. Another of Birdstep's first U.S. customers is Convention Communication Provisioners, Inc. (CCPI CCPI Chernobyl Children's Project International

Two of the customers represent sales that come from a previously announced agreement with Terrawave Solutions (a reseller of both Cisco and Birdstep). These new deals are the first steps in establishing Birdstep IP Zone in the U.S. marketplace.
