Birds banned from Intrepid.


Maybe it was the fear of Avian Flu avian flu: see influenza.  or that they just wanted to keep their deck clean, but a famous World War II aircraft carrier has made it known that birds are not welcome.

The Intrepid, a World War II aircraft carrier and museum located on New York New York, state, United States

 City's west side docks, has hired Parsippany, New Jersey based bird control company Bell Environmental Services The various combinations of scientific, technical, and advisory activities (including modification processes, i.e., the influence of manmade and natural factors) required to acquire, produce, and supply information on the past, present, and future states of space, atmospheric,  to install its patented and revolutionary "BellStrip[TM]" to stop another type of bombing from the sky.

Bell Strip[TM], which was awarded a US Patent in August 2005, is a uniquely designed electric track system that displaces birds by giving them a powerful, yet non lethal, shock upon landing on the device.
