Navistar Foundation to Donate $15 for Each Birdie Made During Navistar LPGA Classic The Navistar LPGA Classic is a golf tournament for professional female golfers on the LPGA Tour. It was played for the first time in September 2007 at the RTJ Golf Trail at Capitol Hill in Prattville, Alabama.  Tournament to Huntsville City Schools

PRATTVILLE, Ala. -- Now there's even more motivation for players to hit great shots during the inaugural Navistar LPGA Classic. Each birdie made won't just have an impact on the score, it will also have an impact on local students. The Navistar Foundation announced today that it will donate $15 for every birdie made during the four-day tournament (up to $25,000) to the Huntsville Center for Technology, part of the Huntsville City Schools.

The donation will support vocational programs that focus on students who plan on careers that do not require college degrees, but still require training and education. The inaugural Navistar LPGA Classic will be held September 25 - 30 at the Prattville location on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is a collection of championship caliber golf courses, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., distributed across the state of Alabama, as part of investments by the Retirement Systems of Alabama. .
