Bird Marella Attorney Ekwan E. Rhow Named A Best Lawyer Under 40 by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.

Rhow has been named one of the Best Lawyers Under 40 by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association American Bar Association (ABA), voluntary organization of lawyers admitted to the bar of any state. Those cases, which have resulted in settlements totaling over $5 million, contributed to the firm receiving the prestigious State Bar of California's 2004 Presidents Award for pro bono work.

Rhow is a 1991 graduate of Stanford University Stanford University, at Stanford, Calif.; coeducational; chartered 1885, opened 1891 as Leland Stanford Junior Univ. (still the legal name). The original campus was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. He has successfully represented United States, South Korean and multi-national corporations in disputes involving contracts, securities, employment, intellectual property and other commercial matters.

Rhow also was recently named a "Super Lawyer" by Super Lawyers Magazine and was selected as one of 33 lawyer representatives from the Central District of California to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Judicial Conference.
