Biotech City and Genopole sign agreement that opens scientific and commercial exchange channels.


As part of his economic mission to Canada and Quebec, French Industry Minister Francois Loos and Michelle Courchesne Michelle Courchesne (born May 6, 1953 in Trois-Rivières is a Quebec politician. The agreement bodes well for greater collaboration between the Meditech Sante Competitiveness Hub and the City of Biotechnology and Human Health of Metropolitan Montreal.

Lastly, an action plan has already been drafted for business development in three sectors of activity in the first year.

The Genopole campus in Evry revolves around genomics, post-genomics and related sciences as well as a complete set of advanced training. Thanks to Universite d'Evry-Val d'Essonne, over 1,800 people in 26 academic research laboratories and 51 innovative biotechs are located on 71,000 square metres of space.
