-- Sales during the first nine months 1999 increased by 48 percent
to SEK 52.2 million (compared with SEK 35.4 million for the same
period in 1998) and during the third quarter with 18 percent to
SEK 14.7 million (compared with SEK 12.5 million in 1998). The
increase was mainly in the U.S. market.
-- Emdogain was approved in the United States for a new
application, multiplying the market potential several times.
-- A new subsidiary, Biora BioEx AB, was formed to focus on R&D on
products for treatment of wounds and infections outside the oral
cavity.
-- Documentation for licensing pre-mixed product, Emdogain(R)
Gel, was submitted in Europe.
