-    Sales increased to SEK 17.2 million (compared to SEK 11.7 million
     during the same period in 1998).

-    Operating loss: SEK 22.8 million (compared to a profit of SEK 8.0
     million during the same period in 1998) (operating profit for
     1998 includes nonrecurring revenue of SEK 39.4 million from
     Biora's Japanese partner).

-    Net loss after tax: SEK 20.9 million (compared to a profit of SEK
     12.2 million during the same period in 1998).

-    New positive knowledge about Emdogain and its influence on wound
     healing.

-    New subsidiary, Biora BioEx AB, for research and development of
     products to treat wounds and infections outside the oral cavity.

-    New owner, The National Pension Insurance Fund, 6th Fund Board,
     with 19.21 % of the shares.
