Sales for the first quarter of 1999 were $3,907,000, compared with $3,838,000 for the same period one year ago. Income before taxes increased 26 percent to $328,000 in the first quarter from $260,000 in the prior comparable period. Net income rose 10 percent from $182,000 in 1998 to $201,000.
