Biopool International Announces the Appointment of Dr. Denis O. Rodgerson as Clinical Advisor.


VENTURA, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--Jan. 25, 1999--Biopool International Inc. (Nasdaq:BIPL BIPL Biphase Level ) Monday announced that Denis O. Rodgerson, Ph.D., will become a clinical advisor to the company effective immediately.

Rodgerson is currently professor emeritus at the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA comprises the College of Letters and Science (the primary undergraduate college), seven professional schools, and five professional Health Science schools. ). He has held numerous positions and served on many committees at UCLA since 1974. Positions held recently have included professor and vice chairman, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and head of clinical chemistry at the School of Medicine.

Committee membership has included System-Wide Legislative Assembly and Information Transfer and Technology. He was instrumental in establishing the very successful Clinical Product Development Program for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Rodgerson has been an active member of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry since 1964, holding various positions within that organization, which have included serving on the board of directors and as chairman of the National Performance Evaluation Committee.
