Biopolar organic mousse products make freezer debut in Germany.

Okofrost, the organic frozen food specialist from Berlin, is claiming a first: an organic dessert other than ice cream for the freezer. It is out with Biopolar Bio Mousse in four flavors: chocolate, white chocolate white chocolate

"We are treading new territory in the organic frozen food field with this product line," said Boris Czizikowski, the company's managing director. "Nobody could have imagined a chocolate mousse from the freezer." The product, which can be served with fruit or a sauce, can either be consumed directly after thawing, or kept in the freezer for special occasions.

The mousses, which bear the Naturland certification as genuinely organic, are produced for Biopolar by a family-run organic pastry shop in Dresden. Since Okofrost (Fax: +49-30-78776610 established the Biopolar brand three years ago, its assortment has grown to 21 products, the most popular of which is pizza topped with farm-raised organic shrimp sourced from ponds in Ecuador.
