Biopharmaceutics hires Ehrreich Consulting for FDA filings.

BELLPORT, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 1996--Biopharmaceutics Inc. (BOPH: OTCBB) announced today in furtherance of its joint venture with Advanced Biological Systems (ADBS: OTCBB) for the commercialization of its cancer drug, Mitolactol(TM), a contract was signed with Ehrreich Consulting to handle all FDA filings.

Dr. Stewart Ehrreich, president of Ehrreich Consulting was formerly deputy director at the FDA in the Division of Cardio-Renal Drug Products. At the FDA, Ehrreich reviewed several hundred Investigational New Drug Applications (INDs) and was responsible for review and approval of several New Drug Applications (NDAs) including drugs for hypertension, hair growth, several beta-blockers, calcium channel agents and a blood substitute. As a consultant, Ehrreich has been involved in the filing of 19 INDs and 9 NDAs, as well as 26 pre-IND or pre-NDA packages with the FDA.
